Leading an Improvement Task
This 2 day event covers the steps taken in any business improvement activity.
It is "action learning". The tutors will provide appropriate learning. Delegates will then put into practice their new skills and knowledge within a simulated Company. Continual improvement will be the order of the days and we will see a fourfold increase in output by the end of the exercise.
Managers and staff will:
- Develop a strategic improvement plan for their organisation
- Understand the business as a system of inter-related departments
- Understand how to determine performance measures
- Interpret data so that improvement strategies can be formulated
- Listen to customers (both internal and external) to derive improvement priorities
- Identify the cultural issues that will help the transformation initiative
